Our Process

- THE S.K.A. SEARCH PROCESS OUTLINED -

Your Search & Scott Kane Associates, Inc.

  1. We view you as our “partner” and as such, it’s critical that we familiarize ourselves with all aspects of your business. Preliminary questions will include (but not be limited to):
    • “Where does your company stand in its categories?”
    • “Do you have new products in your pipeline?”
    • “What are some of your recent successes?”
  2. What are the most important qualities that you are looking for in a candidate?
  3. A minimum of a two person team will be assigned to your project, one as your “Point Person” and one as a researcher. This team, through our various techniques will within 2-3 weeks deliver five to six highly qualified and interested candidates to you.
  4. Resume reviews and scheduling interviews either in person or by phone.
  5. Follow up on both your interest and the candidate.
  6. Our guidance on presenting the offer.
  7. Our guidance on potential “compensation” negotiations.
  8. Our “Ushering” the offer to candidate acceptance.
  9. Conducting reference checking.
